What is Colt FX?
Colt FX is a distance learning course which teaches the Colt FX intraday trading system. The system signals a potential position when price bounces off a level of support/resistance. These bounce-offs are then confirmed by a number of secondary signals. If the combined confirmation signal is strong enough the trader opens the position.
Colt FX is based on the trading system that Professor Safin of the International Academy of Exchange Trading outlined in his book '5 Marks to Success'. The professor and his team honed this system for a number of years and the result is Colt FX.
Colt FX does not set out to be a ‘holy grail’. It does not promise huge returns. It is, however, a reasonably safe vehicle. It has been successfully used by a number of traders. Of course, your success with Colt FX will depend on how you use the system.
Can I take a look at the Colt FX course outline?
Of course you can. The Colt FX distance learning course is designed to be as flexible as possible. This means you can use it in the way that suits your needs best. If you are completely new to Forex or trading, it is probably better to work methodically through the course from Module 1. If you are more experienced, you may want to go to Module 5 and set Colt FX up and then work through the earlier modules as necessary. The 5 modules are the back bone of the course. This is what they cover:
Module 1 discusses the Forex market; its conventions and how to trade with the Rumus2 trade terminal. There are short tests at the end of each part of module 1 so that you can monitor your progress.
Module 2 looks at the elements from Chart analysis that Colt FX uses. These are levels of support and resistance and candlestick patterns. Module 2 includes a number of practical homework tasks that you can post on the forum for our comments and group discussion.
Module 3 covers the technical indicators in Colt FX. These are simple and exponential moving averages; RAVI; RSI and Stochastic. By the end of module 3 you know what they are, what they do and how Colt FX uses them. Module 3 has practical homework tasks which we will be happy to comment via the forum.
Module 4 presents the theoretical basis of Colt FX and how Colt FX combines all its elements to produce signals to open a position. Module 4 also looks at strategies for closing a position. Module 4 contains practical homework tasks which we look forward to discussing with you.
Module 5 shows you how to set Colt FX up on the Rumus2 trading platform. It also contains advice on how to spend as little time as possible making Colt FX work for you. There are no homework tasks in module 5. The only homework is to thoroughly familiarise yourself with the trading system.
What will I get from the course?
The course covers the elements of Colt FX thoroughly. The trading system uses support and resistance levels; two oscillators (RSI and Stochastic); one trend-following indicator (RAVI) and a group of candlestick reversal patterns.
Naturally you will learn how Colt FX uses these elements. The course uses online modules, film clips and downloads to teach the system. There are homework tasks which can be discussed on our private Colt FX forum. You can use the forum to discuss any aspect of the course, the system and your progress with our teachers and other users of Colt FX.
Colt FX offers a rewarding learning experience for anyone who is interested in Forex trading. If you are new to trading, the course will be especially useful: you will get an insight into trading systems and the opportunity to trade in a controlled manner.
What makes Colt FX different?
Anyone who has spent any amount of time learning about trading will know that all commentators advise using a trading system. However, trading systems are quite difficult for new traders to come across and they are often described in highly technical language. Colt FX teaches traders how to use a trading system in a straight-forward jargon-free way. Trading Colt FX gives traders the chance to explore their individual trading psychology in a safer trading environment. The Colt FX forum gives all our users the chance to learn as a part of a supportive group.
How long is the course?
It takes about 30 hours to work through the Colt FX modules on average. Of course, you can spend more time studying the downloads, doing the homework tasks and reading/posting on the forum. It’s up to you. Like most things in life, the more you put into it, the more you will get out of it.
How much does it cost?
Colt FX will be available in a number of different packages depending on length and quality of access and support. Full details will be available before the launch date.
How do I pay?
